Shipping Questions
Do you ship avocados nationwide or only within California
Yes, Nationwide, All 50 states.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free for all orders.
How long does it take for my avocados to arrive after ordering?
Most orders are received in two days, in more remote parts of the country is normally 3 days all shipped priority mail.
How does San Diego local delivery and pickup work?
They can pick up their order from our farm or we will deliver to any address in San Diego County in 24 hours or less.
What is your return or refund policy if the avocados arrive damaged or rotten?
We have yet to have an order replaced, returned or reimbursed, but in the event they are damaged we will reimburse you free of charge
Avocado Ripening, Storage, & Care
Do LoveCados arrive ripe and ready to eat, or hard and green?
They are picked off the tree and to customers doorstep in two days so they arrive hard and green. They usually ripen within a week or two.
What is the best way to ripen my avocados quickly at home?
With other fruit on the counter or in a big bowl. Brown bag is also another option with another fruit in the bag as well.
How should I store my avocados to make them last longer once they are ripe?
Once the lovecados are ripe put them in the fridge which stops the ripening process, when you take them out theyll still be perfect to eat.
How do I store a cut avocado half to keep it from turning brown?
Wrapped the avocado tightly in plastic wrap and put in fridge. Also can put up cut up avocado in bowl and splash with lemon juice this keeps them from ripening as well.

Do you offer recurring avocado delivery subscriptions?
Yes, just let us know in description when placing us an order or an email and we will set up your delivery monthly on either the 15th or 30th of the month.

Are your avocados certified organic?
LoveCados are organic but not certified organic. That is a very expensive certification and is very expensive for a small business.
Where are your avocados grown?
The perfect climate that is warm during the day and cool at night.
Are California Hass avocados available year-round?
Almost, LoveCados are available roughly 10 months out of the year.
